Viewer region and language: see results ranked the way YouTube typically shows them to viewers in a selected country or language. Helpful for local discovery and market research.
Channel Topic: narrow results to broad categories like Music, Gaming, Sports, Entertainment, Lifestyle, Society, Knowledge to keep searches focused.
Important note about Region and Language: these settings are biases, not hard filters. They influence how YouTube ranks results for viewers in that country and language, but they don’t mean a channel is located there or officially in that language, because YouTube doesn’t expose reliable channel location and language fields for filtering. We do, however, now show channel's country if it is set by the creator.
