UpScrolled is a fast-growing video app that a lot of creators are testing as a TikTok alternative, especially as TikTok users complain about sudden reach drops, feed weirdness, and general platform uncertainty.
But there’s one big difference. Unfortunately, UpScrolled doesn’t offer a large, comprehensive built-in music catalog to use alongside your videos.

I’m getting questions from our members about adding music to UpScrolled videos and I picked some of my favorite royalty free music tracks to help you get started. You can try my selections or pick our own music from thousands of royalty free music tracks in catalog.
How to add royalty free music to UpScrolled videos?
UpScrolled does not (yet) offer an option to add your own music in-app. So simply edit the video elsewhere, add the music you want, and then upload the video (with music) to UpScrolled.
Step 1: Edit your video in your usual editor (phone editor / CapCut / desktop).
Step 2: Import the royalty-free track, edit to fit, and export the final video.
Step 3: In UpScrolled, tap + → Video → select the exported video from your gallery → publish.
As UpScrolled platform is new, ensure you are using the latest version of the app to access the newest features.
