Generate YouTube keyword ideas, long-tail phrases, and question-based search terms from any video topic.
About YouTube Keyword Generator
YouTube Keyword Generator helps you brainstorm keyword ideas for any video topic.
Enter a topic, optionally choose a language and video type, and get grouped keyword suggestions you can use to plan YouTube content faster.
This tool was designed to give you clean, relevant keyword ideas based on your topic and related YouTube search suggestions rather than overwhelm you with numbers and stats.
How it works
Enter a topic such as meal prep, guitar lessons, or como aprender inglés.
You can also choose a language and, if relevant, a video type such as tutorial, review, shorts, vlog, gaming, music, or educational.
The tool checks related YouTube suggestions and uses them to help generate keyword ideas that stay closer to real search behavior on YouTube.
What you get
Results are organized into four sections:
- Recommended By YouTube: Keyword suggestions based on YouTube suggestions and related search phrasing.
- Primary Keywords: Broad core keywords that define the main topic.
- Long Tail Keywords: More specific multi-word phrases built around the same topic.
- Questions: Question-based search phrases that can help with tutorial, educational, and intent-driven content.
Edit, copy, and export
Each keyword appears as a removable tag, so you can delete anything you do not want to keep.
You can copy keywords from each section individually, use Copy All to copy all visible keywords, or use Download CSV to export all visible keywords.
If you remove any keywords, the visible count, copy actions, and CSV export update automatically.
Language and video type
The selected language influences both YouTube suggested searches retrieval and keyword generation.
Video type is optional, but it can help shape the phrasing of suggestions.
For example, tutorial topics may return more instructional keyword ideas, while review topics may lean more toward evaluation or comparison.
Who should use this tool
This tool is useful for:
- YouTubers planning new videos and looking for topic angles
- Creators who want broader and narrower keyword variations from one idea
- Beginners who need help turning a topic into searchable phrases
- Channel owners building tutorials, reviews, educational videos, Shorts, or niche content
- Anyone who wants a quick starting point before writing titles, descriptions, tags, or outlines
How do I use this tool to improve my channel visibility?
Use the generated keywords as a starting point for how you frame your video topic.
Look at the Primary Keywords to identify the main subject of the video.
Use the Long Tail Keywords to find more specific angles that may better match what viewers are searching for.
Check the Questions section for tutorial-style, problem-solving, and intent-driven phrases that can inspire stronger educational or how-to content.
You can then use the best phrases naturally in your video title, description, tags, chapter names, spoken intro, and even thumbnail concept.
The goal is not to stuff as many keywords as possible into one video. The better approach is to choose a clear topic, match the phrasing to real search intent, and build the video around one strong keyword theme.
Once you have the shortlist of topics, turn topics into SEO optimized video title.
