We, unfortunately, cannot offer songs from The Sound of Music, such as “Do-Re-Mi” or “Edelweiss,” because the underlying compositions are still protected by copyright. Even if we produced our own cover recording, TunePocket would only control the rights to that new recording, not the copyright in the song itself.
This means customers using those covers still might need to obtain additional licenses or permissions from the music publisher or other rights holders, depending on how the music is used. Not to mention that clearing the copyright claims on YouTube would be much more complicated in that scenario.
